Alan Staab brings over three decades of leadership in project development, engineering and finance in his role as President and CEO of Golden Gas Service Company, which he founded in 1996. A seasoned entrepreneur, Alan has founded multiple successful energy ventures, including Tag Team Resources in 1995 and Golden Gas Production Company in 1989. His expertise spans upstream production, midstream services, and utility-scale project development. Prior to his entrepreneurial career, Alan held technical and financial roles as an engineer at Mobil Oil Corporation and TXO Production Company and as a loan officer at Continental National Bank, giving him unique insight into the intersection of engineering, capital markets, and energy infrastructure. He holds an MBA from the University of Oklahoma and a BS in Chemical Engineering from Michigan State University. Alan’s operational experience and proven track record of company-building are foundational to the success of Golden Gas Service Company and its execution of the Joy Station Storage Project.
