Blaise Staab

PROJECT FIANCE

Blaise Staab has over 15 years of experience in the successful development, financing, construction and operation of energy assets. Blaise leads project finance efforts for the Joy Station Storage Project, bringing a track record of securing and structuring large-scale energy infrastructure investments. Prior to joining Golden Gas, Blaise secured a $1.6 billion loan guarantee commitment from the U.S. Department of Energy and managed an $800 million equity fundraise at Gevo. He previously held roles in corporate strategy and M&A at Phillips 66, where he evaluated and executed complex transactions across the midstream and downstream energy businesses. Blaise began his career as an engineer and project manager at ONEOK, giving him a deep understanding of project management and execution. He holds an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin and a BS in Engineering from Columbia University in New York City. His combined expertise in finance, engineering, and strategic planning makes him a critical asset in delivering the Joy Station natural gas storage project.
