Roy Robertson provides commercial advisory to Golden Gas Service Company, supporting all marketing and transportation activities for the Joy Station Gas Storage Facility. With nearly four decades of experience in natural gas marketing, trading, and supply, Roy brings commercial expertise to the project. He began his career at KPL Gas Service in 1986 and was instrumental in the launch and growth of Rangeline Gas Marketing, eventually serving as Director of Marketing & Supply. As gas markets evolved, Roy led the formation of Rangeline’s Gas Trading group in 1995 and continued his leadership in supply and trading through the company’s transition into Oneok Gas Marketing, where he managed 34 Bcf of storage and over 366,000 Mcf/day in callable sales contracts as Director of Midcontinent Trading.

In 2014, Roy was tapped to establish a trading presence for Sequent in Tulsa, overseeing origination and trading across Kansas, Oklahoma, North Texas, and the Texas Panhandle. His success in these markets led to expanded responsibility as Director of Origination following Williams Company's acquisition of Sequent in 2022. Roy retired from Sequent in 2023, but remains active in the industry, leveraging his decades of commercial and logistical insight to help guide the success of Golden Gas and the Joy Station Storage Project.
